  1. A carless city eh? Sounds good. I was just writing about that. I gotta make it to that museum. My favorite new design being prototyped as we speak is a gasifier designed for a mobile platform that can be hitched to a truck traveling agricultural areas converting farm waste to biodiesel and fertilizer. Mobility is the key divides the cost, just like the first harvesters on the parries. Making stockpiles of diesel that can power tractors from waste. Sustainable farming for the post fossil fuel economy.

  2. Spanish tile sun roofs are pretty cool. It encorporates a sustainable engineering idea into an architectural design. Might be a bit pricey though.
